I have been using Eneloop batteries for quite a few years.
They have a very long life, and hold a charge for an extremely long time.
These are the best! I use both the AA and the AAA in all my portable devices, bike lights, and so forth.
I would not consider using any other batteries. These hold up/last longer than any other batteries I have ever used!
